Refund & Cancellation Policy

4. Failed Payments & Account Suspension

If a payment attempt fails:

  1. Stripe will retry your payment several times

  2. You will receive automated reminders

  3. If unresolved, your subscription will be suspended

  4. API access and premium features may be disabled

You must update billing information to restore access.


5. Downgrades

Downgrading a plan:

  • Takes effect at the next renewal

  • Does not trigger a refund

  • May reduce access to certain features

  • May limit your API or generation allowances

All usage limits reset on the new billing cycle.


6. Upgrades

When upgrading:

  • You may be charged immediately for the price difference

  • Some upgrades take effect instantly

  • Usage limits (words, images, audio, API) may increase immediately

Upgrades do not reset your billing cycle unless stated.


7. API Usage Charges

If using JotPro API:

  • Usage-based charges are non-refundable

  • Overages are automatically billed

  • You are responsible for monitoring API usage

  • The Company is not responsible for your automated workflows or publishing tools

Refunds are not issued for unintended automations or misconfigured bots.


8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Attempting to dispute a valid payment through your bank (“chargeback”) may lead to:

  • Permanent account termination

  • API key revocation

  • Loss of generated content and documents

  • Legal action to recover fees

We respond quickly and transparently.


9. Exceptional Circumstances (Case-by-Case Review)

The Company may offer refunds only under rare, verifiable circumstances such as:

  • Duplicate billing caused by a technical error on our end

  • A subscription mistakenly charged after documented cancellation

  • Fraudulent transactions proven through payment processor investigations

This is not a guarantee and is determined solely at the discretion of the Company.


10. Changes to Pricing or Subscription Features

We may modify:

  • Subscription tiers

  • Pricing

  • Limits

  • Features

  • Tools and model availability

Changes may occur at any time.
Users will be notified when required by law.

Continued use constitutes acceptance.


11. Termination by the Company

If your account is terminated for violating:

  • Terms of Service

  • EULA

  • AI Writing & Content Risk Policies

  • Abuse rules

  • API misuse

  • Illegal activity

—no refunds will be provided.
